18 Months Old

Claire turned 18 months old yesterday. These are a couple of photos I took on the way to daycare.

Banana Bread

Claire wanted to help with the banana bread.

Body Parts

Before her bath, Claire is pointing out her different body parts. When I would play back a clip of her doing so, she could hear me say, "Where is your ear?" and she would point it out again. It was too funny. She also knows where her hair is and her belly button, but we couldn't get that far in one clip. The quality of the video isn't great because it was a little dark in the room, but we'll follow up later with a better one.

Playing at the Park

I took Claire to the park this morning before lunch. She realllllly didn't want to leave, especially the swings.

Labor Day Street Picnic

Our street holds a Labor Day picnic every year. (The day before Labor Day because Berea College does not get Labor Day off.) We had a great time and Claire kept taking off down the street.


Claire's friend Owen lives down the street and is about 8 months younger than her.
Owen is practicing walking with mom, Zoe.

More Walking

Yesterday, Claire initiated some walking on her own again (the first time since she first walked at 16 months) and has continued to do so many times.
