17 Weeks

I've been feeling very tired this last week. I'm sure that has as much to do with it being the last week of the semester as it does to me being pregnant, but it is wearing me out. I am looking forward to catching up on some sleep this week and relaxing a little before summer research starts up next week. I've also been nauseous from time to time and very thirsty. Two weeks from tomorrow we'll have another ultrasound!

Weekly weight change = +1.5 lbs.
Total weight change = +12.5 lbs.

16 Weeks

This past week I've had a few bouts of evening nausea. I'm not sure if it's related to the baby, or the fact that I'm eating sweets again. Other than that, I'm feeling pretty good.

Weekly weight change = +2.0 lbs.
Total weight change = +11.0 lbs.

Picnic

It was nice to have a break from the monsoon weather. Andrew's chemistry department had a picnic/awards ceremony that Claire and I joined. We had a great time!

Brother and Sister Talk

This was actually the first (and only) time Claire has responded positively to the question, "Do you want a little brother or a little sister?" I guess it's good that we got it on record. (We get some of our best footage at the dinner table.)
