Paige and Claire in the Double Stroller

We took the double stroller to school yesterday with Paige and Claire for the first time. We ended up putting Claire in the back and Paige in the front because Paige kept pulling Claire's hair and biting her seat. They loved it!

Seven Months Old

I can't believe Paige is 7 months old! I started this post on Sunday (the day she turned 7 months), but was very busy with Berea's graduation activities and didn't get a chance to finish it. Paige has changed so much in this last month. She is sitting up so well on her own. She is such a great eater. She has LOVED every food she has tried which so far consists of rice cereal, peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, and apples. She is so good at getting all of the food in her mouth, she can often use the same bib 3 or 4 times before it gets food on it. She is drooling and chewing so much now, those teeth have to be making an appearance soon.

Paige is an outstanding sleeper (and yes, I realize I am jeopardizing this fact by merely mentioning it) on a great schedule! I'll wake her up around 7:30am to go to school to which she always has a huge smile on her face. She get's rice cereal and a 6 oz. bottle of milk at about 8am. I nurse her at noon. She eats apples (or a veggie) at 3:30pm followed by a 6 oz. bottle. We'll feed her a veggie around 6pm for dinner, then I nurse her at 7pm and she's down by 7:30pm without a sound most nights. While she can roll from tummy to back and back to tummy, every once in a while (and less frequently than a few weeks ago) she'll find herself on her tummy in the middle of the night and make some noise. It isn't really crying, just talking noise. All we have to do is turn her back over, maybe put a passie back in her mouth, and she's out cold. We haven't had to change or feed her in the middle of the night at all for so long, I don't remember the last time. It's incredible.

Claire is also doing very well. She hasn't had an accident in over a month and is now getting up in the middle of the night to use the potty all by herself and goes back to her room (not always to bed, but that works for us). She is almost night-potty trained which will be wonderful! Claire is also growing up so fast. We told her on Saturday that we wanted to get a clock for her room to which she replied, "So I can tell what time it is?" We were so impressed because we hadn't mentioned that at all. She loves to help out with her little sister. She loves to give Paige hugs and kisses. Paige adores her big sister too. We are so blessed with these amazing girls! I can't imagine life without them and don't want to.
