11 Months Old

Claire is 11 months old today. She has eight teeth now and loves eating all sorts of foods. Goldfish crackers might be her favorite snack, but she'll go for anything cheesy. She is putting everything in her mouth and doesn't appreciate it when you take something out of her mouth.

Claire has slowly worked her way to a one-nap (if we're lucky) schedule. This is partly because she has been sleeping later (sometimes 8:30am), so she doesn't squeeze in a nap before lunch. On days that she does wake up early, she'll take a morning nap, but then decide that she wants to chug on through her afternoon into the evening without one. Those days can be tough.

Claire loves bath time. You have to wear your swim suit to bathe her because she splashes the entire time. She doesn't smile as she slaps the water, but wrinkles her brow like she's concentrating. We're looking forward to bathing her in a big tub at our new house next month.
