6 Months Old!

Wow, six months. Claire has developed so much personality this past month. We love it! We've nicknamed her "Curious Claire" because she is always looking around and touching objects around her. She is sitting up very well on her own and has brought some regular naps into her daily schedule. She still sleeps 10-11 hours at night and will fit in a 45 min. nap in the morning and an hour or so in the afternoon. She chuckles when she sees funny faces or hears funny noises. We're still experimenting with expanding her foods and we've also given the sippy cup a try. She doesn't quite understand it. She'll hold on with both hands, stick it in her mouth, but I don't believe she has incorporated the sucking reflex yet. She started a little army crawl last week which we think will turn into a real crawl soon. She did well at her six month check-up. She weighs 15 lbs. 4 oz. and is 26 and 3/4 inches long. We have an appointment for her six month photos on Saturday. We can't wait to see them.
