We assembled and decorated our first gingerbread house yesterday. Paige and I just watched while Claire and Andrew did the building and sampling of the decor. We had a great time and three hours later, after dinner, we helped ourselves to the tree, some snow, and a few of the gum drops. I didn't see any point in letting it all get stale. :)

It looks delicious, and Claire seems proud of the creation that she and her Daddy made! The first of many gingerbread houses to come!
Wow! What fun! And delicious too! We wish we could be there. Claire seems fascinated with the whole process.
